Please be courteous (polite) when using this forum.  Anyone who is causing trouble or post anything that is offensive, defamatory or unsuitable will be banned from this forum.

You are free to share recipes you have tried from books, magazines, newspapers (or newspaper websites), back of food packagings or your family recipes and please acknowledge the source of recipe if possible when you post a recipe, eg. name of book the recipe is from or name of author.  Recipes translated from other languages are also welcome.  However do not copy and paste recipes from other forums if those forums specifically indicated copyright materials or have requested you NOT to copy and paste their recipes elsewhere.  In that case please just provide a link to the recipe and DO NOT copy and paste it onto this forum.

Please do a search first before you ask for a recipe or a question because the recipe or answer may have already been posted in an older thread.

If you are starting a new topic or thread:

When asking a question about a specific recipe, please include the name of the recipe in the Topic title.  This will prompt others to answer your question quicker if they know the answer (sometimes other users may not go into a specific thread if you just put 'I have a question' in the title without indicating about what).  Also provide the recipe you are using so others can see where you went wrong.  For examples:
Question about my failed Kuih Bangkit
or
My Sponge Cake failed!  Please help...

If you are looking for a specific recipe, please add ISO (meaning 'In Search Of') to the Topic title.  For example:
ISO Good Butter Cake recipes, please

If you are posting a recipe you have tried, please add T&T (meaning 'Tried & Tested') to the Topic title.  For example:
Tiramisu recipe (T&T)

Thank you and enjoy using this forum.

Hi peony,
Yes, I have also noticed the discrepancy with the time, especially it changed again when the daylight-saving time changeover a couple of weeks ago...     but I have no control over that since the setup of the forum is from Aceboard.  Maybe set your time to another country 2 hours behind of Singapore and see if that helps.

How to set the personal profile so that there will be email send out to inform of PM and response on topic that I've posted.

jennifer,
I don't think you are able to set it in profile.  But for each topic, there's a 'email notification' just above the topic where you can click to receive email every time there's response to the topic.  I look up Support at Aceboard, but I understand at the moment, that doesn't work very well, but you can try using it.  Sorry about that but this is a free forum site so have to depend on the people at Aceboard   , hope they can upgrade it next time to become more user-friendly.
As for PM, can't remember if the 'email notification' is in there, but there's a pop up window every time you log in here if there's a PM for you.  Hope this help.
